What role does persistence play in revising, refining, and developing work? When you work for that great picture, getting soaked for that perfect water photoshoot or laying in the snow to get the best angle and lighting. Persistence plays a role in developing work because you are developing something that you saw a light in, or a meaning behind. How do artists grow and become accomplished in photography? Depends on their style, personality, and thinking. You can grow in many different ways and I really do think that you will become accomplished by "brightening your horizons." or changing up your work, or simply loving what you do and how you do it. How does collaboratively reflecting (think back to when we critiqued as a class verbally) on photography help us experience reflection better? In class when we critique others work, we are giving our outlook on it, giving our view on something that could make it better. It helps the person see it from a different light and they could take notes or deepen their love for a certain style. How do you determine criteria to judge a photo, what aspects are you looking for? When I am critiquing a photo I am looking for the rule of 3rds, lighting, the main picture. I look for what I would want in a photo of mine. Also when critiquing someone I like to give creative criticism and positive things they could do, use, or try, How and why might criteria vary in photography? Another one where it depends on the person and their perspective. How is a personal preference different from an evaluation when judging a photo? Evaluation is looking at a photo to judge it, you are looking at it and seeing if it meets the requirements, if it follows certain rules in photography. But a personal preference is what you prefer not if it meets that requirements. What appeals to you when you look at it, do you like the angle, or the main focus (ex: a bridge, the sun, a ladder, an animal/person)
